Energy storage, thermal generation, and renewables are only as effective as the architecture connecting them. From front-of-meter utility dispatch to behind-the-meter facility resilience, real-world reliability is rarely solved by a single asset class.
The energy sector often divides itself into rigid technical groups - promoting solar over thermal, or batteries over conventional generation. In our experience, the optimal approach is almost always a hybrid combination. Renewables excel at producing low-cost energy, but they only become firm, dispatchable capacity when paired with energy storage, standby generation, and integrated grid controls.
By remaining technology, chemistry, and manufacturer agnostic, we design custom system architectures built strictly for the needs of each project.
Our Solutions
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
High-density cabinet and containerized BESS assets engineered for frequency regulation, peak shaving, demand response, capacity firming, and backup power. Batteries optimize existing grid infrastructure, reduce interconnection timelines, reduce strain on the grid and generation assets, and optimize renewables. Storage can be stand-alone or integrated with other technologies.
Chemistries: LFP, NMC, and non-lithium chemistries specified strictly around application requirements, economics and degradation profiles.
Configurations: 200 kWh commercial indoor/outdoor cabinets up to 5+ MWh 20ft utility-scale containerized blocks.
Architecture: Integrated HVAC/liquid cooling, aerosol/gas fire suppression, deflagration venting, BMS, and EMS with remote telemetry.
Thermal Generation
Fast-ramping natural gas and diesel generator sets designed to deliver continuous firm power, extended multi-day autonomy, and black-start capabilities. Our solutions scale from behind the meter commercial & industrial applications to utility scale generation needs.
Duty Cycles: Engineered for prime, continuous, standby, and peaking power requirements.
Grid Synergy: Designed to bridge extended outages alongside energy storage, taking over seamlessly once BESS state-of-charge thresholds are reached.
Compliance: Heavy-duty, low-emission prime movers equipped with digital paralleling controls and sound-attenuated enclosures.
